These young people are the future. EACOP is focusing on skills development, vocational training, entrepreneurship, and access to financial resources aimed at creating sustainable economic opportunities to enhance the livelihoods and economic wellbeing of youth along the pipeline corridor regions and Districts. Economic empowerment of young people, especially those living in rural areas, has been highlighted by the government among the key strategies for poverty reduction. This program is designed to enhance the livelihoods and economic well-being of youth from Project-Affected Communities (PACs) and those who are not directly affected by the Project within the pipeline corridor regions and Districts.
